Spooky season has arrived at the Welty House, and we’re celebrating with Storytime on the Side Porch on October 15 at 3 p.m.
We are excited to welcome special guest reader Dr. Jerome Goddard from the Mississippi State University Extension Service. Dr. Goddard will teach attendees about the “spooky specimens” of the bug kingdom and the important role insects play in keeping our ecosystem healthy.
This free program is designed for children in grades K–5, but participants of all ages are welcome. No registration is required. Join us as we enjoy seasonal stories, create fun crafts, and discover why the garden doesn’t have to be scary after all.
