Dig into history and care for the literary roots of Eudora Welty’s storied garden. Guided by staff, volunteers assist with weeding, planting, and tending tasks that help preserve this historic space.

When: Every Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., rain or shine.
Where: Eudora Welty House & Garden at 1119 Pinehurst Street, Jackson, MS 39202. Sign-in under the arbor upon arrival.
What to Expect:
Weekly tasks change and will be posted under the arbor each morning.
No experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
