This December, you’re invited to the Eudora Welty House & Garden for a special Holiday Open House, closing out our centennial year with Christmas cheer.
Join us Saturday, December 13, for an afternoon of festive carols performed by the McWillie Elementary Performing Artists and the Jackson Choral Society, beginning at 3 p.m.
After the performance, the Welty House will open its doors for flash tours featuring Eudora’s holiday decorations, while young guests are invited to the Welty Garage for Christmas ornament crafting from 4–5 p.m.
We’ll end the evening with a cozy outdoor screening of The Muppet Christmas Carol at 5 p.m., presented in partnership with the Mississippi Film Society.
This event is free and open to the public. Complimentary popcorn, hot cocoa, and apple cider will be available throughout the evening.
