Cover of William Faulkner's novel The Sound and the Fury in front of greenery

Starting Monday, January 31, we will spend eight weeks (skipping Presidents' Day on February 21) reading and discussing William Faulkner's 1929 novel, The Sound and the Fury. Jay Watson, Howry Professor of Faulkner Studies at the University of Mississippi, will facilitate four of the sessions. The other sessions will be facilitated by Suzanne Marrs, professor emerita at Millsaps College and Welty's friend and biographer.

Discussions take place virtually at noon (Central Time) on Zoom. If you have not participated in a previous book club, email info@eudoraweltyhouse.com to request the Zoom link. If you have participated in a previous #WeltyatHome book club, you are already signed up to receive the link.
