Welty at Home text graphic beside photo of To The Lighthouse novel open to title page with Welty House behind

Starting Monday, May 1, we will be reading and discussing Virginia Woolf's novel TO THE LIGHTHOUSEThe virtual discussions are held weekly at noon (Central time) over the course of eight weeks, excluding Memorial Day on May 29. We are delighted that Eckerd College professor of rhetoric Suzan Harrison, author of EUDORA WELTY AND VIRGINIA WOOLF: GENDER, GENRE, AND INFLUENCE, will be leading the discussions alongside Eudora Welty's friend and biographer Suzanne Marrs, professor emerita of Millsaps College.

Please note that Suzan will be using the Harcourt Brace paperback edition with a foreword by Eudora Welty; however, any text will do. Stay tuned for the Zoom link, which will be sent out the week before our first discussion. If you received emails for previous Welty at Home book clubs, you are already registered for this free event. Otherwise, please email info@eudoraweltyhouse.com to receive the link to the Zoom meetings.
