The first "Welty at Home" book club pick is Welty's most ambitious novel, Losing Battles. This year is the 50th anniversary of its publication. Together, we'll read and discuss Losing Battles over the course of ten weeks. On Wednesdays at noon CST, we'll host live book club discussions on Zoom, led by Welty's friend and biographer Dr. Suzanne Marrs. This event is free and open to the public.
