WeltyatHome Pride and Prejudice Bookclub Announcement Graphic

Starting Monday, September 12, we will be reading and discussing Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen’s 1813 novel, weekly at noon (Central time) over the course of eight weeks, excluding October 17. We are delighted that Susan Allen Ford, professor emerita of Delta State University, will be leading the discussions alongside Suzanne Marrs, professor emerita of Millsaps College and Eudora Welty's friend and biographer.

Please note that Susan will be using the Penguin Classics edition with an introduction by Tony Tanner and notes by Vivien James; however, any text will do. Stay tuned for the Zoom link, which will be sent out the week before our first discussion. If you received emails for previous Welty at Home book clubs, you are already registered for this free event. Otherwise, please email info@eudoraweltyhouse.com to receive the link to the Zoom meetings.
