Go on a ghostly scavenger hunt in the Welty Garden all month long, then join us for Storytime on October 22 at 3 p.m. for an afternoon of fun stories and a garden craft.
Kids and kids-at-heart are invited to go on a Ghosts in the Garden Scavenger Hunt throughout the month of October!
Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet from the Little Free Library and explore the Welty Garden to discover fun facts about plants along with friendly ghosts.
Complete the hunt and return to the gift shop during the week of Halloween for a special treat. No tricks!
Then, join us for a Ghosts in the Garden Storytime on October 22 at 3 p.m.
Our friends from the Greater Belhaven Foundation will be with us on the Welty Side Porch for an afternoon of not-so-spooky stories, fun garden crafts, and lawn games for the whole family! Costumes are encouraged, and if you haven’t completed your scavenger hunt yet, you’ll have another chance to do so during the event.
This storytime is perfect for kids in grades K-5, but all ages are welcome!
