Cutflower Workshop with Donna Yowell

Eudora Welty grew a cutting garden, as did many of her fictional characters. On Thursday, May 20, from 4 to 6 p.m., Flower Growers of Mississippi founder Donna Yowell will lead a workshop, lecture, and Q&A on growing florist-quality flowers at home. At this in-person, distanced event, a small group of adults will learn about beginning or expanding their cut flower gardens and becoming part of the local slow flower movement. Space is limited, and registration is required. Cost is $20 per person and includes supplies. Register at this link: https://tickets.mdah.ms.gov/Policies.aspx
